Chateda Toys: Membangun Critical Thinking lewat Educational Toys

Chandra Meutia, pendiri sekaligus Direktur PT Chateda Toys, sempat terkagum-kagum pada seorang berusia lima tahun yang merekayasa bentuk masjid dari permainan balok produksinya. “Anak seusia itu berimajinasi membangunnya ditepian pantai sehingga lengkap dengan bangunan penahan ombak,”katanya sambal tertawa. “Ini belum pernah kami bayangkan sebelumnya,” lanjutnya. Yang juga membuatnya kagum adalah anak seusia itu bisa mewujudkan imajinasinya hanya dengan mainan balok yang ada, “Tanpa perlu mengambil mainan balok milik adiknya,” jelasnya. Sejak dari awal percakapan dengan Redaksi WoodNews Indonesia, Ia selalu menekankan bagaimana pentingnya membangun critical thinking dari usia dini. Terutama “Itu harus dibangun sejak dini dengan pembelajaran dan pendampingan orang tua atau guru dengan benar dan baik,” katanya. “Dengan benar, baru baik,” tekannya berulang. Jelang Pegelaran IFFINA 2024

Hanya tinggal sebulan lagi, pameran IFFINA akan digelar kembali pada 14 – 17 September di ICE BSD Tangerang Selatan. Pameran mebel dan desain bertaraf Internasional ini sudah masuk apda persiapan akhirnya. Menurut Tanangga Karim, Kamis 15 Agustus lalu, technical meeting dengan lebih dari 200 peserta lokal sudah dilakukan. “Kami masih meninggu konfirmasi kesertaan dari Bank Rakyat Indonesia dan Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM,” jelas Sales & Marketing Director PT Mahala Imaji Kreasi. Technical meeting dengan eksbitor internasional sudah lebih dulu dilakukan dua minggu sebelumnya. “Lebih dari seribu buyer asing potensial sudah memastikan kedatangannya,” katanya menambahkan. Tema pameran IFFINA kali ini adalah Sustainable by Design, sehingga akan lebih banyak mengetengahkan produk-produk yang berbasiskan material sustainable. “Juga dengan permrosesan yang sustainable, yang akan menunjang bisnis atau perdagangan yang sustainable,” jelasnya.
